California’s heat illness standard applies to all outdoor workers regardless of industry. This training is designed to fulfill Cal/OSHA’s annual training requirements for those who supervise employees.
The training will cover the signs and symptoms of heat illness, heat acclimatization, emergency response procedures, and heat illness prevention. This information is essential for avoiding Cal OSHA citations and fines for non-compliance. Training materials in both English and Spanish will be made available to participants.
